Lazy Sunday

Timidly burrow
 in mercilous solitude,
meaningless reflections
rippling through sand grains.
Tirelessly dancing
through lacy crevices,
ultimately beckoning
with innocent effervesence,
luminous pathway
to death and decay.

noxious nightmares
permeate
furtively masking
brave enemies;
powerful politics
befriending
trained shields
with their
false lies.
